700-year-old BridgeHouse is a magical, Dorset country house hotel full of character - the product of generations of history passing through its doors. Originally a home for a dozen priests, the hotel now has its own unique, boutique style, sympathetic to its heritage as well as contemporary comfort.



The aim is to create an unpretentious home from home in a relaxed modern way. We provide luxury hotel accommodation with every bedroom decorated in its own individual style. Each has refurbished bathrooms some with romantic, stand-alone baths, Molton Brown toiletries, crisp white Frette linen and free wi-fi as standard. BridgeHouse shares the same stretch of the River Brit made famous by Channel 4's "River Cottage" series, surrounded by some of Dorset's most spectacular countryside with excellent golf, shooting & fishing available locally. Nearby is the bustling market town of Bridport and the quirky fishing harbour at West Bay.

The terrace and garden lends itself to al fresco dining in the summer for light lunches or buffet. The Two Rosette Restaurant provides more formal dining in a relaxed atmosphere with dishes specialising in local fish and meat.
There are two breakout rooms adjacent to the Sun Room, which can be provided (notice is required).
With thirteen en suite bedrooms, four of which can be twinned, delegates can enjoy the very best Dorset accommodation there is to offer followed by a hearty breakfast.
