Mortons House is a 16th century Grade 2 Elizabethan manor house hotel and restaurant in beautiful Dorset in the heart of historic Corfe Castle.

Built in 1590, Mortons House has retained its unique period features, with each of its 21 bedrooms having their own charm and appeal. The hotel’s location in picturesque Corfe Castle in the Isle of Purbeck, is ideal for guests wishing to enjoy comfort, exceptional food, and a warm welcome.

Mortons is on the door step of some must-see locations along the Jurassic Coast with the beautiful beaches at Studland, Swanage and Lulworth being just a short drive away, not to mention the steam train to Swanage passing by our garden!

This family owned hotel has held 2 AA Dining Rosettes since 2002 with the ethos being to produce a top-quality menu, using predominantly local products, with a few twists to tempt the palate.

Mortons House is a very special place for Wedding Celebrations and Civil Ceremonies.

The oak panelled drawing room is the perfect setting for your special day.

Beverly Clayton, Wedding Co-ordinator will personally guide you through the planning stages, the finer details and look after you on the day.

The ethos at Mortons House is to ensure you feel totally at ease ~ as if you were having the wedding in your own home!

CONFERENCES%FUNCTIONS

Mortons House is an ideal and popular venue for wedding receptions, private parties, conferences and meetings, with a choice of 3 character rooms.

During the winter months the log fire in the Oak Room has a charm all of its own.

Due to the original design of this Elizabethan Manor house and the size of the function rooms, we are able to cater for up to 70 guests, buffet style and for a more formally served meal we have seating for 60 guests.

For a more intimate celebration, we can offer a beautiful private dining room with seating for 22 guests.
