On the face of it, The Green House is simply a beautifully restored, 32-room Grade II Victorian villa in the heart of Bournemouth, perfectly nestled between Dorset’s finest blue-flag golden beaches and the ancient mysteries of the New Forest.
Dig a little deeper, however, and you’ll discover that we eat, sleep, breathe sustainability. So much so that we’ve been recognised as one of the top “eco-hotels” not just in the UK… but in the world.
After a painstaking 18-month refurbishment during which we considered the environmental impact of every single decision we made, we opened in April 2010 to rave reviews. The awards have been rolling in ever since.

If you want your conference or event to have minimal impact on the environment, holding it at The Green House is a great start.
The hotel’s private events facilities are contemporary and versatile. Meeting space can accommodate anything from small boardroom style meetings and private dining to large theatre style events. All rooms have natural daylight and the latest audio-visual equipment.
Our team will work with you to plan your event, ensuring it runs exactly as you want. If you like, we can even give your delegates a tour of the hotel highlighting our array of environmentally friendly features.
