The romantic and exclusive setting of Kennaway House is a perfect wedding venue in Devon. Wedding reception venue, also licensed for civil marriages. This lovely Grade II* listed Regency mansion, standing in attractive grounds at the heart of Sidmouth, is close to the sea. This is not an hotel as there is no accommodation.

The beautifully restored Hatton Wood and Amyatt Rooms, with their high sash windows and period decor, are the ideal backdrop for your exchange of vows in the presence of up to 80 guests.

Following your ceremony, here or elsewhere, we will be delighted to accommodate your formal wedding breakfast for up to 60 guests in our elegantly proportioned Hatton Wood room.

Our spacious Cellar Bar is ideal for larger gatherings of up to 100 guests, and is also the perfect spot for your evening entertainment.
The house also offers rooms to hire for a range of events, from parties and funeral wakes to educational and wellbeing classes, and business conferences.
Kennaway Gallery has work by up to 30 local artists on view during the year and is available to hire for solo exhibitions.
