Formally known as Belmont House, it was once owned by sixties actress Diana Dors before being transformed into a hotel known as The Royal Hotel with twelve bedrooms and one bathroom. Since that time it has been extended to offer 32 bedrooms with ensuite facilities and a heated indoor pool and gained it's and a member of the Best Western Brand.
