Built in the 17th Century and currently in the process of being restored to its former glory, Kirklinton Hall sits on a 12 acre site that features a beautiful part-walled garden.
Also in this stunning garden is an orchard, nuttery, quince grove, Japanese Garden, bog garden, duck pond and palace, pigs, and a princess tower. A scented rose maze and rose terraces surround the great hall and the herb garden is utilised by the resident herbalist for traditional herbal cures.
Take a walk through the woods to the Faerie Glen past the dragons, following the path down the side of the beck and the cascades of water. Relax at The Captain’s Seat where you can sit and enjoy the tranquillity of nature and see the rock carving of the Faerie Princess’s face.
Once done, come back to the café for a lunch made using the garden produce or a slice of cake with tea and coffee. We are also licenced.
Pick a trug full of produce from the garden or buy peruse the gift shop then buy some of the plants we’ve grown to take back to your garden.
Camping, yurts & a gypsy caravan.
Open from 1st April - 30th September each year daily from 11am - 4pm. Not open Saturdays.

The Great Hall is a beautiful setting to create your own bespoke wedding, party or event. The walls are draped with growing grape vines, passion flowers, peach trees and orange trees.
We have a small stage, space heaters, a bar and a useable kitchen.
