f you're looking for something a little bit different then Rheged is the place for you. This intriguing venue has breathtaking internal architecture and an abundance of natural daylight. Located in the Eden Valley at the Gateway to the North Lakes, Rheged is just a stone's throw from Ullswater.
At Rheged we have a special wedding entrance exclusive to you and your guests which passes by our waterfall, lake and decorative wooden bridge.Once inside we offer a choice of distinctive rooms.
From Summer 2010, Rheged became a hub for holiday ideas for Cumbria and the Lake District, with interactive information stations on Outdoor Adventure, Arts and Culture, Family Fun and Food and Drink.
There is also the main desk in the foyer where our enthusiastic and knowledgable staff will share their experiences of some of the area's hidden gems and accommodation, including self catering, hotels, bed and breakfasts, camp sites and holiday cottages.
