The Old School Hall building was originally the Church of England School for Barlestone, constructed around 1850 it was under the control of the Diocese of Market Bosworth until transferred to Barlestone church control in 1880. The Old School Hall continued to be used as the main school in Barlestone until the mid 1940’s, became independent of church control in 1986 and is now a charitable trust (Ref 703082) providing community facilities for church activities and family events including play groups, dance groups and exercise classes. The Old School Hall is available for community hire on a one-off or regular basis.
