Miller Howe is one of only a few Luxury Lake District Hotels in Windermere. It is set in five and a half acres of beautiful groundsin the heart of the English Lake District overlooking the shores of Lake Windermere.
Built as a private residence in 1916, today Miller Howe offers comfortable interiors, indulgent cuisine and simply unforgettable views.
We have been designed very much with the outdoors in mind. Thanks to our privileged location you can look out over the lake and fells whether you are sitting on our terrace, relaxing in the lounge or enjoying a candle lit dinner in the restaurant.
A wedding at Miller Howe is a very special occasion. With our gorgeous grounds and panoramic Lakeland views, we offer you the perfect place for memories to be made and a stunning backdrop for photographs.
Every effort is made to tailor each wedding to match your unique requirements for this most special day. We are also fully licensed to cater for civil marriage ceremonies on the premises.
We’re able to cater for groups of up to 65 people at our wedding venue and our wedding co-ordinator is always on hand to advise on the all important details including flowers, menus, wine and drinks packages, photography, cars, entertainment, bridal hair and beauty.
