Located on the border with Hertfordshire about 9 miles from Cambridge yet only 40 minutes from London, Minstrel Court is a Grade II listed Tudor Manor house set in 7 acres of landscaped grounds and beautiful gardens!
With three stunning areas to get married Minstrel Court must be one of the most flexible locations anywhere. Our Pavilion overlooking the lake is glassed in and heated, with guests secure beneath a glassed in canopy ensuring a guaranteed outdoor wedding at any time of year! Alternatively you can choose our stained glass Chapel overlooking the Wimple Hall meadows, comfortably seating over 150. Finally, there is our listed beamed Long Gallery overlooking the Patio for those who want a sense of history! Which one do you want? Decide on the day!
Many venues have only one room which they turn around - at Minstrel Court we have several great spaces. We have two amazing spaces to eat! Our beautiful Marquee seats between 60 and 140 - you can dine in style overlooking the gardens and the lake. And complete with stained glass windows, he lofty Regency Barn can seat up to 130! In the evening the party moves onto the terrace, into the listed Long Gallery for dancing and through to then 21st Century Sky Lounge Bar, perfect for guests who would prefer a quiet chat whilst remaining part of festivities!
A Bridal Suite is included for the night and we have two other en-suite rooms which can be hired out. The venue is exclusively yours for the duration of the wedding and subject to availability access might be possible the day before to set up and decorate. We have no set menus and are always happy to work with you to accommodate any personal food preferences!
