The present Clubhouse and course were officially opened in 1974, the building subsequently being greatly extended to enlarge the lounge and provide a new professionals shop. Further improvements to upgrade the male locker room facilities, entrance foyer and accessibility followed over a number of years. Recently a total refurbishment of the lounge, bar and restaurant areas took place adding to the style, quality and ambience of the Clubhouse

DCGC Members and visitors can relax and unwind, enjoy the attractive surroundings and friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse. The layout of the facilities allow the enjoyment of a wide range of activities. The clubhouse can be used to savour fine food and good company, somewhere to retreat to, chill out or as a venue for celebrations of all kinds. The restaurant offers a private room for your society visit, perhaps to savour the events of the day whilst dining. Alternatively the Clubhouse bar area can be used for a quiet drink in the company of fellow golfers and is very popular with members and visitors alike. Whatever your requirements we are sure they can be accommodated in our comfortable surroundings.
