It is an extraordinary privilege to live in the most unspoiled surviving early fourteenth century house in all England, and to be able to welcome you to it. Markenfield Hall is truly a special place.

WEDDINGS

Markenfield Hall, its outline reflected in the encircling moat, provides a wonderfully intimate venue for a wedding. Hidden in the rolling North Yorkshire countryside, yet within easy reach of Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds, Markenfield Hall is a unique and beautiful venue for a small wedding.

MEETINGS

Markenfield Hall, tucked privately away at the top of its own mile-long drive, is surprisingly central when it comes to business. 15 minutes from the A1 and from Harrogate and 45 minutes from Leeds and the M1 it is infinitely accessible – and yet utterly private.

We offer the use of the Great Hall for small private meetings and can provide seating around the library table for up to ten people.
