With Cutlers' Hall based in the heart of the city it becomes the ideal venue of your conference in Sheffield with the mainline Sheffield train station just a 5 minutes taxi ride or direct link via supertram to outside the venue.The hall has flexible rooms and layout which means they can host small meetings in the beautiful Hallamshire Suite for eight guests or large conference event so for up to 500 delegates – all within this diverse central Sheffield venue.
Our Main Hall can seat up ton 300 guests so is the perfect space for conference dinners or award ceremonies.

The largest of the Halls, this magnificent room can seat up to 500 guests for a theatre style meeting or 350 for a dinner and 300 for a dinner dance. Steeped in history, the ceiling is decorated with the arms of the Cutlers’ Company, Sheffield Corporation, the Diocese of Sheffield, Sheffield University and the West Riding of Yorkshire along with a famous quotation from Ruskin.
The magnificent Main Hall is suitable to hold all styles of events from conferences, meetings, exhibitions, product launches, gala dinners, weddings, and, each year is host to the Cutlers’ Feast.

This room was the original workman’s dining hall, but was redeveloped in 1953 to create a very versatile space within Cutlers’ Hall. Ideal for exhibitions, parties, dinners and civil marriage ceremonies/receptions the Hall can seat 180 for a dinner dance, 200 in theatre style (restricted view) and stand 400 for a cocktail reception. It is also ideal for exhibitions due to easy access for loading and unloading.

Another magnificent room decorated in deep and atmospheric colours. The ceiling in the Old Banqueting Hall states the Cutlers’ company motto: ‘Pour y parvenir a bonne foi’ - ‘To succeed through honest endeavour’. This can be reflected in the many events that have taken place in the Hall from presentations for up to 300 theatre style to dinners and breakfasts for up to 180 guests. The space is also ideal for a breakout area for larger conferences.

The Drawing Room & Reception Rooms are interconnecting and can be used independently or jointly.
The rooms are ideal for civil ceremonies, meetings, Wedding receptions and dinners. The two rooms used together also provide a drinks reception area when dining in the larger Old Banqueting Hall or Main Hall.
The rooms are of traditional style with natural daylight, but due to the interconnecting wall offer great flexibility for a variety of events from meetings, wedding receptions and dinners all in the heart of Sheffield. As well as having larger rooms available, Cutlers’ Hall also has as a selection of smaller rooms which are ideal meeting rooms in Sheffield.
