Willingdon is no less proud of the hospitality it is able to offer than it is of its magnificent course or wonderful facilities.

Members and guests alike are able to enjoy a wide selection of food throughout the day. Sundays is always eagerly anticipated by the members - a special carvery is available. This has proved incredibly popular and booking is advisable.

On other days there are a host of tempting meals available on the chef’s specials board which changes daily but which can feature filling favourites like beef bourguignon or cottage pie. If time is at a premium and you just want a quick but filling snack, then these are available daily from the bar snack menu.

Willingdon are happy to host any of your private celebrations including weddings, engagement parties, special birthdays, christenings and retirement parties – whatever the function we would be happy to welcome you to our club.

The Marquess restaurant has its own fully equipped bar allowing the area to be reserved for exclusive use without the need to use the members’ bar and lounge area upstairs. As well as its own bar, the restaurant boasts a permanent dance floor which can be used for discos or bands.

New Captain
Congratulations to our new Club Captain, John Bigsby, who was elected Captain at the Annual General Meeting on Friday evening. He now joins Margaret Heald who is our Ladies Captain. Martin Coles has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors who are now joined by Alan Nottage and John Maynard. Mike Rham and Brian Watkinson were re-elected as Chairman of Green and Chairman of Entertainments.
