The Farthings Country House Hotel & Restaurant is an elegant 18th Century property situated in the heart of Somerset in the historic and idyllic village of Hatch Beauchamp just 3 miles from the M5 and within easy access of Taunton and the rest of Somerset. Set in its own extensive gardens, the Farthings enjoys an enviable reputation for the warm hospitality and opulent comfort it provides for it's guests.

The Hotel provides a home-from-home, a tranquil place to relax and unwind. We have a comfortable lounge with crackling log fires in winter, a well stocked bar and three elegant dining rooms. The Farthings offers eleven individually designed and spacious, en-suite Guest-bedrooms and Master-bedrooms. We also welcome well behaved dogs.

The Farthings comprises beautiful grounds & gardens sporting orchards, roses and our own poultry for your breakfast eggs. We have beautiful spacious rooms to satisfy your need for peace and relaxation. Our restaurant is award winning and serves food from our gardens, local produce from neighbours, and the farmers near-by.

Offering, comfortable spacious and personalized facilities for your wedding. With total flexibility, accommodating all of your individual requirements. We can cater for small intimate parties or larger weddings up to 200 guests.

At Farthings, your special day will be one to remember, no matter what the day brings.

Exclusivity of the Hotel includes all 12 bedrooms and suites. You will enjoy the total exclusivity of the venue and access to our graceful gardens, bar and lounge without having to share the space with other guests. Our team will therefore be totally focused on you, your guests and of course your wedding day.

Naturally, you will wish to visit the hotel before making any final decision when you will have an opportunity of viewing the bedrooms, restaurants, guest areas and our gardens. It will be very helpful for us to have an informal meeting so that we can design your day.

Each event is tailor made to your own requirements. We have no set menus, no limit to your choice of food or style. We can arrange formal sit-down wedding breakfasts, garden parties, Champagne Afternoon teas, Hog Roasts, Buffets or anything that you feel would be right for your day.

We can offer assistance with Marquees, photographers, florists, hairdressers, car hire, music and entertainment and any other help or advice you request.

The Farthings holds a Civil Wedding License and Civil Partnership License.
An exclusive stay with us at Farthings would allow your guests to experience all twelve of our beautiful designed bed-rooms.Your bridal suite, one of our master bed-rooms called Bay, is the perfect way to finish any day. With a spiral staircase that leads to your en-suite, beautiful views of our walled front garden and a spectacular sunrise over your room in the morning.

Nestled in the quiet village of Hatch Beauchamp surrounded by countryside and within easy access to junction 25 of the M5, A303 and A358, with Taunton centre just a few miles away.

Farthings has three meeting rooms and can accommodate up to 50 guests in theatre style and up to 24 in a board room style.

With four packages available there’s one for every budget, all are inclusive of Bacon sandwiches (home cured from home-reared Pigs) on arrival & freshly baked pastries with freshly ground morning coffee, room hire, your selected lunch package, mineral water, flip charts, writing pads, free parking & Wi-Fi. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated. Day delegate rates are for a minimum of eight attendees.
