Set in its own 40 acres, 16th century Tarr Farm Inn nestles just above Tarr Steps and the River Barle. Only 7 miles from Dulverton, through beautiful wooded valleys and across the open moorland of Winsford Hill with stunning views of Wales, Devon and Dartmoor, Tarr Farm is the ideal location to take advantage of all that Exmoor National Park and North Devon has to offer.

Tarr Farm has recently been awarded the AA 5 star Highly Commended Inn award.

WEDDINGS

We specialise in small, beautiful and intimate wedding receptions that make the most of this idyllic setting. It would be impossible to find a more romantic location – the tranquillity, the stunning views and the exceptional food at Tarr Farm make it the perfect venue – and the historic Tarr Steps, just a few paces from the Inn, offer the perfect photo opportunity, whatever the time of year. We create bespoke weddings and will tailor every detail of your reception, from the menu to the music, to perfectly suit you.
For the ceremony itself, there are a number of pretty village churches to choose from, all within a few minutes drive of Tarr Farm. We have nine rooms for guests and can help to arrange any further accommodation that is required; we are also happy to offer exclusive use of the Inn for your wedding. Our events organiser can arrange transportation, flowers, live bands and photographers. We’ll stop at nothing to ensure the day is everything you want it to be.

At Tarr Farm, we make small business meetings, conferences and team-building events much more interesting! With a corporate event at Tarr Farm, you’ll be enjoying fabulous food, inspiring surroundings, fantastic activities and exceptional service while you work. We can organise every aspect of your event, from transport and accommodation to all food (including bespoke menus designed for you) and great outdoor sports. Our accommodation is ideal for business guests – television, DVD/CD players allow you to really relax, while a pull-out desk, wi-fi broadband access and direct dial telephone makes working convenient. We can also provide packages that include activities for non-participating partners.
Our Oak Room provides an excellent venue for meetings and conferences and can seat up to 19, while we have accommodation for up to 16. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
