With first class catering by Levy and a stunning setting within Bristol Zoo Gardens, the Clifton Pavilion has all the right ingredients to make your event truly memorable and unique.

Easily accessibly by road and rail, the Clifton Pavilion has five rooms that can accommodate from 10 to 120 guests including a purpose built lecture theatre with tiered seating for 119 delegates.

Whether your event is a conference, summer barbecue, Christmas party or training seminar we aim to make it a success and believe that with our excellent catering and friendly and professional staff the Clifton Pavilion is a venue that cannot be matched in or around Bristol.

The Clifton Pavilion is an elegant building with a number of very attractive rooms, varying in size and ambience. Light and airy with high ceilings and a balcony on the first floor, the graceful style of the architecture is as it would have been, when it was purpose-built for grand functions. Now, thoroughly updated and tastefully modernised, the building has a number of rooms that can be laid out to suit all occasions.

How it works

Although managed and operated by Levy, the Clifton Pavilion is part of Bristol Zoo Gardens, which is a non-profit making conservation and education charity. A proportion of the profits made by the Clifton Pavilion, go directly to fund the important conservation and education work of Bristol Zoo Gardens.

Hire one of the most unusual conference venues in Bristol at Bristol Zoo! Whatever your event, the historic Clifton Pavilion at Bristol Zoo offers a completely unique conference space. With five rooms over two floors it can comfortably accommodate up to 120 people. This includes a purpose built, tiered lecture theatre, fully equipped with a modern audio-visual system.

The Clifton Suite is elegant light and airy - the perfect place for your meeting. The room has a high vaulted ceiling emphasised by sparkling chandeliers and high arched windows with doors that open out on to a beautiful balcony overlooking the Nectar Garden and Flamingos.

The Lecture Theatre is adjacent to the Clifton Suite and is the perfect venue for important presentations and seminars. With tiered seating for 119 people, the Lecture Theatre boasts state of the art equipment including a built in LCD projector, DVD/CD/VHS player, PC, 3m x 4m screen, impressive sound system with mics.

The Garden Room is a very versatile space with doors that open out on to the terrace to allow direct access into the Zoo grounds. The room also has a unique Zoo themed floor that is perfect for dancing

The Council Room has a fixed boardroom table and is an attractive room with views overlooking the Zoo grounds and flamingos. It is great for meetings, formal dinners or as a breakout room.

The Members Room is adjacent to the Garden Room and is ideal when used for seminars and meetings. From a fun casino to a small boardroom there are endless uses for this room.
