Eighton Banks Village Hall is a community centre near Wrekenton. It is funded and maintained by trustee members and volunteers, who run a wide range of social and sports groups. There is something for everyone in every age group, from  youth groups, to karate and cookery. There are also several bingo evenings every week, and coffee mornings once a month. The building is also available for hire for parties, events and conferences, just call the above number or drop in to book. The price includes use of:

• a large hall (14 metres by 19 metres – maximum capacity 80 persons)
• a dining room (9 metres by 12 metres)
• a kitchen (with oven, microwave, tea/coffee urn, fridge, food preparation area, and assorted crockery and cutlery)
• building-wide WiFi
• tables and chairs (if required)
