The 2024 Seniors Open will be held on 13th June. This is a mixed event of stableford format for over 55 year olds.

After graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2011 and completing his pre-registration training under the expert eyes of Anne Gray and Chris Campbell in Inverness in 2012, Craig Campbell worked with JM Macdonald Opticians opening a new practice in Portree, on the Isle of Skye. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there and helped build a thriving community practice. In 2017, he was honoured and very proud to be named ‘Optometrist of the Year’ by the Scottish Health Awards in Edinburgh.
Having been raised in Skye and Lochalsh, Craig has now opened his own independent Optician in Kyle, alongside his partner Shannon MacDiarmid who graduated from Stirling University in 2016 with an honours degree in marketing. They will endeavour to provide a friendly local service for all the family, including home visits for those unable to make it into practice, promoting and utilising brand new, state of the art optical equipment to ensure that our local community have access to the best eyecare possible 5 - 6 days per week.
