Are we losing too many venues that encourage live music?

In a recent article published in the Guardian newspaper entitled "The slow death of music venues in cities " the question being asked is are too many music venues being lost? The article focuses on venues in large cities, but what about out of the cities? Does your area have a great venue that features live music? The Role of the Toastmaster

Toastmaster, Master of Ceremonies is there a difference?  In my view, no.
