The Heart of Newhaven community
WELCOME!
We are finally installed in the Heart, which is going from strength to strength; the doors have been thrown open for the first, limited, public events as work progresses towards opening the whole site; several community groups are now holding regular sessions at the Heart, while tenants and partners continue to prepare their various premises.
It has taken several years to get to this stage (see more on About Us) and it may be some time yet to get to full, functioning capacity.
In the meantime, events are being held and bookings are being taken so get in touch through our admin@heartofnewhaven.co.uk email or by clicking on the various links on the website, or follow us on our social media.
We are grateful to the Community Ownership Fund for a recent grant by which we should be able to carry out really urgent repairs to make the Victorian building watertight as well as help towards the cost a new boiler and a lift, both of which are badly needed. We hope to be running at full strength soon, but it all takes time and money!
