Welcome to our website!

We are the oldest parish church in Boston, keeping a worshipping presence offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass since around 1066. We continue to seek to bring our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ to the community and bear witness to Him.

As a parish of the Society of St Wilfred and Hilda in the Diocese of Lincoln, the Mass is integral to our life, without which we could not sustain our existence. The Solemn Parish Mass on Sunday is offered in keeping with that of the saints who have gone before us; with splendour and beauty. We do this to offer our prayers and praises to our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ as He reveals Himself to us in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar which we receive in the Eucharist.

As a parish of the Society, we look to the Bishop of Richborough to provide Episcopal oversight for us and to enable us to enjoy a relationship of full communion not only with him but also with other parishes of the Society.

Safeguarding

“We are committed to the safeguarding and protection of all children, young people and adults, and the establishing of safer, caring communities. We have worked hard to improve our culture of informed vigilance, our practices of safer recruiting, and our safeguarding at every level of our church life within congregations and dioceses.” Central Church of England

The giver of every good and perfect gift has called upon us to mimic God’s giving, by grace, through faith, and this is not of ourselves.
