The Scotsman Hotel is located on the historic North Bridge, connecting the ancient Old Town of Edinburgh with the cosmopolitan New Town. 10 floors of luxurious rooms, suites and a duplex Penthouse offer our guests unrivalled views including Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, The Scott Monument and beyond.
Named after Scotland’s national newspaper, for which the Baroque building was originally built as headquarters, The Scotsman of today is a true city hotel, featuring an all-day brasserie restaurant, three bars, a boutique cinema and a range of events spaces.

The Grand Café is located in the former advertising hall of the Scotsman Newspaper headquarters, and today is the playground for afternoon treats, late night tipples, and unforgettable date nights.
