We will be contacting those on the Waiting List mid February ahead of our renewal date of 1st April 2024.
PROFESSIONAL POSITION
We are delighted to advise that James McKinnon, known as Jim, and his assistant Euan McBride will be joining us as the Professional on 1st March 2023. Jim has over 30 years’ experience in the golf industry, including over 19 years as a Club Professional. He and Euan intend to provide a well-stocked shop, offer first class tuition, club fitting and repair services. As well as this, they will be responsible for all aspects of tee bookings for visitors and collection of greens fees as well as continuing with the Junior coaching programmes.
As a professional player, Jim played on the Tartan Tour and was ranked in the top fifteen on the order of merit ten straight years winning twenty-six times including four order of merit tournaments. He has represented Scotland on four occasions in the three Man International Team. This playing experience has been an enormous asset as a golf coach. Jim will be re-modelling the shop from the turn of the year, so if you see him there please drop in and give him a warm Williamwood welcome.
