Village Hall / VICTORY HALL

 the victory hall in laxton has recently undergone a major refurbishment following many years of fund raising activities managed through the village hall committees & along with a  grant we have managed to give the village hall a new lease of life with amongst other works incude

a new roof

new windows & doors

a major rewire with new lighting etc.

a cental heating system

a complete new kitchen installation

a redecoration & improved toilet facilities.

it is now hoped that this facility will be used for the village & by the local community.

recent hirings have included

a wedding party for 100 people

a 50th birthday party with disco

a  5 year olds childrens party with a clown in attendance

a quiz night

Monday evening yoga classes.

laxton stay & play 10-11.30am every other friday

W.I. monthly meetings on a wednesday evening

a rotarian fund raising evening

as a polling station.

One of the latest improvements we have been able to undertake is for the full provision of a disabled toilet facility which has now been commissioned  , installed & in full use .
