Radley Village Hall is used by many village groups. It also serves as a venue for public meetings and as a polling station on election days. Next to the Hall is a children’s play area and behind the hall is the playing field. The hall is run by a committee of dedicated volunteers led by the chairman Chris Henderson.

The Hall is available for hire. Contact Charmin Croft by email on charradleyvillagehall(at)gmail.com, by phone on 07450 274353, or through the Contact Us page of the website for conditions of hire, charges, availability, etc.

The Hall holds an Entertainment Licence from the Vale of the White Horse District Council covering events including discos. Hirers wishing to have a pay bar to serve alcohol will have to apply to the Council for a Special Events Licence.

Location

Radley Village Hall is situated on Gooseacre (the first turning on the right off the Foxborough Road when entering Radley from the Abingdon direction). The full address is:

Radley Village Hall

Radley
Abingdon OX14 3BL

The building was erected in 1977 on the former site of the Radley College vegetable gardens as a replacement for the much smaller village hall built in Lower Radley in 1924/25. The hall was extended in the 1990s to provide an additional area at one side, a refurbished kitchen and a disabled toilet. New double glazing and other sound proofing measures were installed in 2008.
