With room for 100 people, there is a very well-equipped kitchen, with fridge, cooker, and plenty of crockery. The hall is licensed for music and has a small stage area.

OCTOBER 2023: Honing & Crostwight Village Hall Committee are pleased to announce that the heating and lighting upgrade for the village hall is now complete.

The new infrared heating system consists of ceiling units which should generate warmth to the users more quickly than the old convectors. Additionally, the push button time control mean that the heaters can no longer be inadvertently left on by users of the hall. The lighting has been replaced by more efficient LEDs and the lights in the toilets are now controlled by sensors so no longer need to be left on for long periods. The aim is to reduce our energy use and consequent cost for the hall, decrease our carbon footprint and do our small bit to save the planet! On a more local level, any savings that we can make in running the hall means that we improve the long term viability of this valuable community asset. Hopefully, it will also mean the hall becomes a more comfortable and attractive venue to future hirers and users.

Many thanks to North Norfolk District Council for their generous grant of £7725 awarded as part of the Sustainable Communities Fund initiative.

Honing & Crostwight Village Hall is a registered charity, and is managed by an enthusiastic committee of Trustees, with lots of help from people in the village and beyond. Together, we aim to provide a lively and viable amenity for the benefit of everyone in Honing and Crostwight and the surrounding community.
We always welcome new ideas, so please let us know what events you would like to see at the Village Hall. Our chairman is John Jennings and you can contact him on 01692 536763
